Las Vegas is a popular holiday destination. A number of people come to gamble at
Las Vegas casinos and hotel accommodation is the first problem that they
encounter, especially during the busy time. Getting a cheap hotel in Vegas is
easy if you book your Las Vegas hotel accommodation sufficiently in advance e.g.
1 month or 2 month before your date of travel. Cheep hotels can be found if you
conduct sufficient research on hotels. There are various travel websites that
have online hotel booking facilities and you can sometimes find really good
deals at these sites.
However, if it’s not a planned Las Vages trip but a sudden unplanned one,
getting a really cheap hotel at Vegas would be very difficult. And if it’s the
peak season (e.g. holiday season) or weekend, most hotels in Vegas may have no
vacancy and the possibility of getting a cheap Vega hotel would be almost
‘zero’. However, if you walk in during off-peak times you can get hotel
accommodation quite easily. But again, if you are looking for Vegas cheap
hotels, then you should not enquire about the rates directly at a hotel’s front
desk. Some hotels might not give you the ‘best price’ if you just walk straight
into the hotel with your bag and baggage (they know that you are unlikely to
look elsewhere once you are in). So, the best way to get cheap hotel in Vegas
(irrespective of whether it’s peak time or off-peak time for hotels) is to get
hold of the phone numbers of few cheap hotels in vegas and give them a ring
(even if it means calling from a public booth just a couple of yards from the
hotel). Ask them the ‘best price’ that they can offer to you, and if you like
the price, just book it and walk straight in. A little bit of smartness over
here can really save some cool bucks for you. But don’t be too fussy about it.
